These honours are more than trophies on a shelf, they are a validation of our hard work, expertise, and our culture of excellence throughout HF
We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have been recognised as leaders in not just one, but three prestigious categories this year by the British Legal Technology Awards.
Evaluated by an independent and impartial panel of specialists and organised by Netlaw Media, the BLTA invites participation from law firms, barristers’ chambers, in-house legal teams, alternative legal service providers, and industry suppliers.
In addition to celebrating and rewarding excellence in legal technology and IT security across the UK and international legal sectors, the awards highlight leadership, innovation, and technological advancements, as well as the individuals, teams, and providers shaping the future of legal services.
We scooped the top prize in:
Information Security Team of the Year
This award is a testament to the efforts across our entire business to ensure security best practice. The security and technology teams have demonstrated ongoing diligence, expertise, and unwavering commitment to keeping HF safe and secure. Our relentless efforts have ensured the integrity of our systems, protected sensitive customer information, and demonstrated excellence to our lawyers and clients.
Technology Team of the Year
A particularly special recognition of my IT team and the people we work with in the business – like Michael Rimmer, David Scott, Laura Fanning and Beth Shaw. We continue to build and maintain innovative solutions, deliver implementations in incredibly tight timescales, and the ability to stay ahead of the curve whilst staying with tight budgets. This is proof we do more than meet expectations, we have redefined expectations in the sector.
Alliance of the Year
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, and this award highlights our ability to build strong, meaningful partnerships. ShareDo stands out as a prime example, reflecting the mutual respect, shared goals, and synergy we bring to every alliance.
CEO Ronan McCann: “We are absolutely thrilled to have scored a hat trick of awards recognising the hard work and investment our teams we have put into our technology innovation and IT security platforms. These are key strategic areas for our business and to see them recognised by the British Legal Awards panel at such an important industry event is extremely rewarding. We will continue to work hard in this area to maintain our high standards.”
John Presland, CIO: “These honours are more than trophies on a shelf, they are a validation of our hard work, expertise, and our culture of excellence throughout HF. Winning these awards shines a spotlight on our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and security. We continue to position ourselves as trusted leaders in the legal sector establishing a reputation as a firm where brilliance thrives.
While it’s important to celebrate, let this serve as inspiration to aim even higher over the coming years. Together, we have shown what we are capable of achieving. Let’s continue to set the standard, build on this momentum, and drive even greater success in the future. We were all instrumental in creating our culture of excellence that enabled this achievement.
Thank you to everyone in the HF team for making this possible.”
