Head of Client Insight
Prue is a solicitor with over 30 years’ experience in the insurance market. She spent the first seven years of her career working on all forms of defendant motor, EL, PL, disease and property damage litigation at a national law firm before moving in-house to CIS, where she enhanced her technical skills, personally dealing with the most complex and esoteric disputes arising from the general and life insurance businesses. She held a senior leadership role, becoming head of litigation and dispute resolution for Co-operative Financial Services, which included both CIS and The Co-operative Bank plc., where she was responsible for what was one of the largest in-house functions in the UK and had oversight of a panel of external advisers. After taking a career break in 2012, Prue spent a year working at a global law firm on one of the largest legal projects in the UK before taking another break in 2014. Looking for a new challenge, Prue joined Horwich Farrelly in February 2015 and leads the firm’s insight group, where her vast technical knowledge, operational and regulatory know-how place her in a unique position to support the firm and its clients in the ever-changing insurance legal landscape.
