We place a firm emphasis on recognising talent and promoting from within. That’s what makes securing a training contract at HF distinctly different from most other law firms – we only recruit from our existing employees.

Once you are working for us and have passed your probationary period, you’re eligible to apply for a training contract via the internal application process.

As you’ll have already gained significant experience managing a caseload and taking cases to trial, your training programme is accelerated from the standard two year period to just 18 months.

What do we look for?
  • We’re looking for keen, open minded people with plenty of common sense!
  • You will be the face of our firm when you’re dealing directly with clients, so it’s important that you’re organised and can follow instructions, as well as being willing to use your own initiative
  • Effective communication skills are a must – you will be trusted to develop productive client relationships
  • Above all we’re looking for intelligence, passion and enthusiasm!
