Peter is an Associate Partner in the London Market and Specialty team with significant expertise in insurance disputes. He regularly advises insurers, reinsurers and policyholders on complex coverage issues under a range of policy types and lines of business.

He is a leading practitioner in marine and commodity-based disputes and acts on high-value, strategically significant and technically challenging matters involving multiple jurisdictions. Peter is regularly instructed by domestic and international insurers, P&I Clubs, brokers, vessel owners, charterers and commodity traders.

Peter's also provides professional indemnity defence for a variety of professionals including brokers, surveyors, architects, solicitors, accountants and IFAs.

Consistently recognised in the Legal 500, he is described as "a fountain of knowledge", "an excellent litigator with a calm manner, which inspires confidence from clients and team members alike", "unflappable even with difficult clients or opponents" and having "sound judgment and an ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses in a case."

Peter plays a prominent role within the insurance market as an Executive Committee Member and Vice-President of the London Market Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
