Horwich Farrelly understands it has a responsibility to our profession, our clients, our people, our suppliers and the communities in which we operate.
In line with our business and strategic goals, we view Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as integral to achieving our growth objectives whilst retaining the culture and ethos on which we were founded. We are a dynamic organisation with a focus on reliability, trust and delivering results. We are friendly, approachable, and passionate and we care deeply about our people, our clients and wider society. Our CSR activities encompass four areas:
We aim to promote from within and create opportunities for training, development and personal growth. We take great pride in rewarding our people for a job well done with regular social events. We also combine our charity work with social activities where possible and can often be found in fancy dress!
In 2017 we were accredited by Best Companies as 'Ones to watch' for the second year in a row and our approach to equality and diversity won a HR in Law Award in 2020.
We are firmly commited to the development of our profession and believe that nurturing the next generation of legal professsionals is essential. We were instrumental in the launch of the UK's first legal apprentice scheme in 2013 which we use to bring a diverse range of talent to the firm. The award-winning programme continues to grow each year.
