We are delighted to announce the appointment of Oliver Bate to the role of People Director.
With significant experience within both the large retail sector as well professional services, Oliver previously held senior roles at Addleshaw Goddard, DWF and Hill Dickinson. He takes a commercial approach to HR practice focusing on strategy development and long term business objectives as well as understanding how people best succeed in their role in order to add value to themselves, the organisation and its clients.
Commenting on Oliver’s appointment, Tom Reynard, Chief Operating Officer at Horwich Farrelly said: “We are delighted to welcome Oliver into his new role as People Director at this exciting time. He will take the firm’s human resources and learning and development activities to the next level, developing strategies that firmly put our people at the heart of what we do. This will involve a number of new initiatives to enhance the skillset of colleagues, improve retention and engagement, and upskill managers as the firm continues to grow. In the coming months Oliver will be announcing exciting plans for further development of our People function and the valued range of services it provides to the business.”
