An amazing result for colleagues participating in 10k and half marathon events.
Nine colleagues from our head office have raised more than £2,144 for The Christie after taking part in the Great Manchester Run half marathon and 10k.
The races, held last Sunday 19 May, saw some 30,000 people take to the streets, alongside sporting professional such as Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick.
The first event – the half marathon – took place in the morning with Joe Griffiths-Holland, Mark Manning and Terri Ridgway taking part, raising £699.44 for our charity partner. In the afternoon Eloise Sochanik, James Brooks, Sandra Borys, Nicola Acton, Joshua Ellidge and John Parker Chambers tackled Europe’s largest 10k event raising £1,445 for the charity.
Congratulations to everyone who took part, and thank you to everyone who sponsored our runners. If you’d like to make a donation but haven’t yet got round to it dash over to our JustGiving page.
