Our biggest annual client event attracted more than 110 attendees.

Horwich Farrelly’s fourth annual Large & Complex Injury Conference has been hailed a success after all spaces were reserved within just eight weeks of the event being announced.

The conference, held on Thursday 25 April at London’s Welcome Collection brought together more than 110 delegates from around 50 organisations.

The theme of this year’s event was Learning from Experience and saw experts Professor Alan Carson, Dr Dougall McCorry, Duncan Dollimore, Paul Russell QC and Sally Hatfield QC consider the latest developments in areas such as conversion disorder, subtle brain injury, accidents involving cyclists, mediation and fundamental dishonesty.

External speakers were joined by Horwich Farrelly’s own specialists. This included Kevin Coakley who looked at sourcing experts in cases and Simon Curtis, who spoke alongside external speakers Jill Ferrie and Jennie Rudd.

They debated on the role of a case manager and how effective rehabilitation is throughout a claim. The event was compèred by the firm’s Head of Large & Complex Injury, Malcolm Henké.
