Richard is a Partner in the restructuring and insolvency team. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in the insolvency arena, advising clients across a broad range of issues.
Richard’s clients include insolvency practitioners, lenders and receivers, companies and directors, creditors and debtors.
He has a unique perspective on commercial debt recovery for financial institutions, having been on secondment to a major financial institution early in his career.
Notable cases include acting for the successful applicant in the case of Enterprise Insurance Company plc [2017] EWHC 1595 (Ch) and successfully obtained a freezing order for liquidators in the case of IAHP Group Holdings [2025] EWHC 2069 (Ch).
