Chris has over 35 years’ experience of insurance litigation and regulatory work on behalf of insurers, brokers and major corporate clients, with a particular focus on the sports and leisure sectors. He also acts for drivers who face criminal prosecutions for serious motor offences.
He regularly receives instructions for complex cases requiring advice and representation in both civil and regulatory jurisdictions. Chris attends inquests providing support and advice including Regulation 28 reports.
He is regularly instructed in product liability cases, particularly involving white goods.
Chris takes a practical and not simply transactional approach. He advises on risk management and improving indemnity spend, including reviewing policies and procedures and training programmes to help educate clients and their employees.
