Helen is a Partner in our dispute resolution group and is an accredited mediator.
She deals with all forms of commercial litigation, predominantly handling complex commercial disputes. She has over 30 years' experience of handling insurance, banking & finance, fraud investigation, professional negligence, real estate, construction and property litigation. She also deals with professional, business and regulatory issues.
She is experienced in handling all forms of dispute resolution, including High Court and County Court Litigation, Arbitration and ADR/Mediation.
Helen has extensive experience in handling all types of professional negligence claims and has been involved in leading cases in this area, having taken cases to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. She also deals with business and professional indemnity insurances, as well as dealing with regulatory issues and risk management.
She has successfully managed commercial and corporate disputes, directors' duties claims, fraud, asset tracing and enforcement across jurisdictions. Much of her high value commercial litigation work has been for international clients with cross jurisdictional issues.
Helen's expertise covers both commercial and residential real estate disputes, handling development and development finance issues, restructuring and loss recovery, including property damage claims. Her knowledge covers secured and unsecured lending, title disputes, contractual disputes, title insurance, enforcement of guarantees, subrogation claims, mis-selling, insolvency, debt and restructuring.
