Lucy is a Commercial Litigator, with 15 years experience specialising in multi-jurisdictional, high value commercial disputes, typically acting for ultra-high net worth individuals and international and UK based commercial enterprises. Lucy has particular expertise in complex, cross border contractual disputes and commercial fraud cases, as well as enforcement and asset recovery.
Following a successful career in fashion and media, working over a 12-year period at corporations such as Emap PLC and Associated Newspapers, Lucy completed her legal studies, achieving a First Class LLB from the College of Law. Her previous career afforded her extensive experience of client account supervision, multi-team management and business strategy creation. Lucy’s resulting business acumen allows her to fully engage with and understand her clients’ objectives, information that she places centrally to her over-arching goal of resolving disputes in her client’s favour, commercially and with optimal cost efficiency.
Lucy has specialist commercial litigation experience within a range of business sectors (including Private Equity and Investment, Technology, Construction and the Automotive industries) and has secured ground-breaking decisions for her clients before the Courts of England & Wales, influencing and contributing to the development of the law. She has extensive experience of litigating before the High Court (including specialist divisions such as the Commercial Court and Technology and Construction Court), the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. In addition, Lucy is well versed in forms of ADR, including mediation and international arbitration.
