Patrick embodies Horwich Farrelly’s commitment to recognising and rewarding talent, having risen from trainee solicitor to partner in a little over seven years. Patrick’s areas of expertise include catastrophic loss, MOJ claims, motor claims and costs. He specialises in cases involving technical points on the interpretation of the Civil Procedure Rules and Pre-Action Protocol, dealing with such issues as the inappropriate removal of matters from the portal by claimants. Notable cases include the appeal of Cunningham v AST Express & ANR (2009) and he was acted on behalf of the respondent in the case of Saul v Fielding (2015). Patrick also sits on the firm's Executive board.
