Since joining Horwich Farrelly in 2002, Ronan held a firm focus on pushing the boundaries for insurers in the Counter Fraud arena, later leading the department before becoming the firm’s Head of Business Development.  Ronan then led the growth and expansion of Horwich Farrelly into all jurisdictions within the UK and Ireland before diversifying its practice across the whole spectrum of Insurance Law and into areas of Commercial Law.

After becoming CEO and Managing Partner in 2017, Ronan set about transitioning the corporate structure from the traditional Partnership model to a more modern structure in the form of a Limited Company. This led to the establishment of an all-employee share scheme and a culture of innovation and customer focus giving the firm the flexibility needed for growth. In more recent times Ronan has built a highly experienced Top Team from both the insurance and legal sectors all of whom have significant expertise in business acquisition and integration positioning HF well to fulfil its exciting growth ambitions.
