Mark has over 30 years’ experience acting for insurers on injury claims. He specialises in large loss motor claims, typically with a value of up to £3m, with cases including those involving complex orthopaedic injuries, brain injury, and chronic pain. He also advises on indemnity and policy disputes. Mark is pragmatic and commercial, always looking for the earliest reasonable settlement.
His strong procedural knowledge enable him to make maximum use of technical points including, for example, a case where costs sanctions were secured against the claimant for abuse of the RTA Protocol process, with the claimant’s costs for almost 5 years’ work being restricted to Protocol costs of £600.
